Assessment

Throughout Key Stages 1–3, pupils’ progress is continually reviewed through formative teacher assessment and summarised at three assessment points (December, April and July), throughout the academic year, every year. Because of our pupils' special educational needs and disabilities, we carefully balance the use of diagnostic, formative and summative assessments when assessing pupils’ needs, progress and achievement.
